facebook graffiti

It is amazing to see what real artists can do with even a simple application or just a piece of paper. I've browsed some artworks in the facebook graffiti and was very impressed. This one was drawn by Ben Catterall.

Nurain, best way to learn is to watch replays of other graffitis on Facebook. That's what I did when I was learning how to use it. They're easier to do than they look and I don't think most people give themselves enough credit for what they might be able to do if they tried.

If you're going for realistic drawings then find an image you like and copy it. Pay attention to form, proportions, texture, colour and light. Before you start adding colours make sure your form is as good as you can get it. When adding colours and textures don't leave anything out and concentrate on one thing at a time. Be patient and build up the layers of detail slowly. You can't rush it. This one took me about 4 hours of drawing.

I could go on but I think watching replays is priceless.
